Flower time update!!

The temperature has remained pretty constant, and we can safely say the hottest days of 2018 are behind us. When the weather becomes cool it is fun to bundle up with a comfy blanket and enjoy time with friends and loved ones. If you cant be with people you love, it is a great idea to send something they will enjoy, Like flowers!! Chrysanthemums are very appropriately the birth flower of the month as they often bloom as late as November. Gerbera daisies, Asiatic Lilies, Dahlias, Astromerias and more will play the starring role with aall the Autumn and Fall arrangements. A few of my favorite colors,  appropriate for the season, that I personally love are the rich reds, the fiery orange and the tan and light brown accents, picture a rustic theme and overtones of the classics like roses and more…

Email me with any questions or ideas about anything flowery..

Summer Update!

Hello! As today is the official last day of “National Rose Month”, and July brings the sun,  I wanted to share some thoughts on what we consider to be the most perfect picks for your summer bouquets.Gerbera CubeWhether you have an upcoming event, Independence celebration, or just love all things flowery, we have you covered.

Alstromerias, Asters, and and Amaryllis are some of my staples, and as the weather heats up,  the Cymbodium Orchids, Gerberas and Dahlias will withstand the heat. Let us not forget about the mighty Blue Delphinium, sweet Cornflower, or even the regal Calla Lily, (which never dissappoints).  Larkspur, Poppy and Sunflower are some of the most popular here, and of course we can always find beautiful Roses, Chrysanthemums or bright tropicals all year long.

If you want to decorate the picnic table with red, white,  and blue, try gorgeous Roses, or Amaryllis, combined with white Stock, or even Hydrangea, and blue Larkspur or Hyacinth..

Try to keep in mind that, ” Happiness radiates like the fragrance from a flower,  and draws all good things toward you.” (Maharishi Mahesh Yogi) So try to be happy, and share your happiness, because no matter what you are going through in your life, it could always be worse, and you never know how much it could mean to someone around you!

A little peep from me…

Today is November 12, and on the cool, beautiful days of Autumn, there are lots of beautiful flowers still in season. Nights are longer, and Holidays are in the air, so oranges, reds, and yellows seem to be most popular. What we have been sending most are Alstroemeria, Asiatic Lily, Calla Lily, Carnation, Chrysanthemum, and a few Dahlias. Gerbera Daisy, Hydrangea, and Iris, and Rose and Sunflower, (especially in vibrant orange), are a favorite. Sometimes its fun to spray paint flowers, or create an original beauty, if they aren’t available for purchase. If spraying blooms is the choice, remember to purchase from a craft store, where they sell fresh flower paint, and lightly mist the tender petals in a well ventilated area.

That’s all for now, but in the words of Hans Christian Anderson, who wrote the best fairy tales, “Just living is not enough, one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower”.

PS. No matter how crazy life gets, Make time for your family and friends, as much as you can, especially around the holidays.

Notes from the “Petal Pusher”

Today is Friday July 7, 2017 and MyFreshFlowerDelivery.com is Live!

It is very exciting and scary and….exciting. I need you to know it is not perfect, we are

Constantly improving and upgrading and taking suggestions to heart.

Everything flowery is worth it!

“Earth Laughs in Flowers”, the quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson, seems fitting.

He speaks about the proud Earth, and I will say I am proud to be bringing you flowers.

I have always known how much impact flowers have on the world. They grow from the dirt and the sun and the water, and one of the main purposes of a flower is to make the earth beautiful. I

Hope you love flowers as much as I do, and I will guarantee the quality of my service.

P.S.   There is always time for the things in your life that matter, stay true to what you believe to be right, for you. Try not to be influenced by the outside world. And don’t ever forget to take the time to smell the flowers.
